RE: Running Dedicated Water Line For RV at Home?

This may be dumb but, would the PEX be chewed by gophers or a mole? JimR

RE: Fuel rewards

OK More about this when I had time to look it up Can I use my RV Plus Charge Card at all Pilot and Flying J locations in the United States and Canada? Yes, with some exceptions. Pilot Flying J owns over 550 locations in the U.S. and Canada and also has about 80 “Dealer” locations. All Pilot Flying J owned locations accept the RV Plus Charge Card both inside and outside for all types of fuel. All of these “Dealer” locations accept the RV Plus Charge Card at the Truck Diesel lanes, however, most of these “Dealer” locations DO NOT accept the RV Plus Card for gas or in store purchases. For a simple explanation, Pilot Flying J sells the diesel fuel at these “Dealer” locations but does not own the location, store merchandise, or the gas. For a complete list of the different location types visit www.pilotflyingj.com/locations and click on “Downloadable Locations” or pick up an RV Travel Guide at any Pilot, Flying J, or Camping World SuperCenter. RE: Fuel rewards

Oooooppps From the FAQ Page Do I have to come inside and prepay at the truck diesel lanes? No. Since the RV Plus Charge Card is also a method of payment, you can pay at the pump without having to come inside. This is true for not only the truck diesel lanes, but the auto and RV lanes as well. JimR

RE: Fuel rewards

OK I have the RV Plus card yours, the elite is one step up from mine. As I stated earlier some stations do not honner the discount but do honner the card. An example is in Mesquite NV you can fuel but no discount but up in St George, up the road they do honner the discount. Also there are some that will only honner the discount at the truck lanes and not the auto lanes. As far as the RV lanes go the discount is honnered, at least for me. I did have one station, Evanaston WY, that did not discount at the pump but a phone call did the trick. If I remember right all this is in the RV location guide JimR

RE: Fuel rewards

Are you referring to the RV Plus Card? There are some stations that do not honor the card discount, for the ones that do and forget to apply the discount I move on and call customer service and have had the discount applied after the fact. JimR

RE: Residency and voters rights in South Dakota

Are there any new laws in South Dakota that affect my ability to become a resident, or to vote? There are no laws on the books that affect anyone’s ability to obtain South Dakota residency or restrict the ability to vote. Some people are pointing to Senate Bill (SB) 139. The only thing that SB 139 does is to slightly change the process for residents to register to vote in South Dakota. What SB 139 does is it sets a thirty (30) day period from the time someone obtains a South Dakota driver's license (and becomes a resident of South Dakota) to when they are able to register to vote. Thirty days after someone obtains their driver’s license, they can then mail in their voter registration form to the Minnehaha County Auditor’s Office. That was the only legislative change made regarding voting in the last legislative session. Bill Linsenmeyer www.yourbestaddress.com I was addressing these bills: Proposed bills House Bill 1232 and Senate Bill 124 Where did you get SB 139?

RE: Wireless Provider Gripe

I just heard this on Clark Howard where a caller had the same identical question. Clarks answer was: Do not give them your Debit Card or Bank Information. Open an online checking account and fund that for this situation. JimR

RE: Wireless Provider Gripe

mr.ed I too have 2 bills that I pay with a credit card, and I hope it stays that way, but if and when it changes to a Debt card or Bank Account Access I will probibly open a second banking account that will hold a small amount for the bills. Reguardless of what others say or claim my fear with a debt card is an error on the bill. I have seen on the news where the electric bill was billed at say 30,000 dollars, yes it is rare but can happen wipping out your account. Also depending on the bank it could take some time to recover as all are not the same. Here is somthing that might work good for you as posted earlier in this thread: T-Mobile doesn't operate its own bank. Instead, they partnered with BankMobile to offer T-Mobile MONEY, an online bank that provides checking and savings accounts. T-Mobile MONEY accounts are powered by BMTX and provided by Customers Bank, a member of the FDIC. T-Mobile MONEY accounts have no monthly fees, no minimum balance fees, no overdraft fees, no transfer fees, and no late payment fees. T-Mobile MONEY accounts are available to residents of the U.S., except Puerto Rico. JimR
